Beautiful series, Mavs--LETS KEEP THE TROPHY IN TEXAS!!!
To the Mavs and to Mav fans everywhere:
Already, the Dallas/San Antonio series is being called the best series ever--even better than the Sacramento/L series a few years ago. Either team could have won--both teams are champions in my eyes. I am calling upon all Spurs fans everywhere: now is the time to come forward and get behind Dallas. Your sister city deserves your support. All differences aside--this is now TEXAS VERSUS ARIZONA AND AFTERWARDS AGAINST FLORIDA OR MICHIGAN. Do not spend too much time grieving for the Spurs. This team is a group of champions and they will be back in the thick of things next year. The time is NOW. And now, the city of Dallas from the great state of TEXAS deserves the support of all Spurs fans to continue AND TO KEEP THE DAMN TROPHY IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS. We are San Antonians...but we are all TEXANS. TEXANS UNITE. DALLAS--REPRESENT ALL OF US WELL. WE ARE ALL COUNTING ON YOU TO SEND ARIZONA PACKING AND TO KEEP THE TROPHY IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS. A poll on ESPN.com shows that a majority of about 90,000 people believe the Mavs will win the championship.

Yes actually dampier can guard shaq. Moreso than duncan for sure. Shaq is awesome but he's more strength than cunning imo.
And for as bad as timmah is at the ftline. 72%. Shaq is horrific - 40%.. Also I don't think Shaq gets the kindly ft's that duncan does. Dampier/DJ will be able to put some body on him. I'm thinking that diop might get him in some foul trouble as well, since duncan thinks he can bullrush him. Unfortunately killer will have to be thrown under the bus some as well to guard him!! Yikes.
