Interesting TNT NBA Conference Finals Pic...
Stolen thread from another board....
Interesting how TNT previews the Conference Finals--look at pics...
http://www.tnt.tv/title/?oid=639226
Think Stern & TNT had someone else in mind to play in the conference finals?

no respect., but I just really could care less about that.
I was watching the ESPN after game show with Tim Legler and all those guys, and everyone except Tim picked the Suns to win. They said that they thought the Spurs could stop them and if the suns played the Spurs, the Spurs would win, but Dallas isn't as good as the Spurs so the suns will have it easier playing Dallas. HAhha, I just laughed.

What's up with Legler's hate with the Mavs? That dude use to make very little sense with his bball talk but now he's being just moronic.

Suns fan here.
Why do you guys let yourselves get all worked up over this crap? You'll probably make a hundred posts before tip-off about how "disrespected" the Mavericks are. I'm here to tell you, it's not true. The Mav get a TON of respect. Every talk show host or commentator I heard, even before you guys went up 3-1 was saying that the Spurs were in trouble. That Dallas looked like the better team this year. That Dallas was going to take it.
Now all I'm hearing is "Mavs in 5" or "Mavs in 6" or "The Mavs are too deep." or "The Mavs can beat the Suns at their own game." No one has picked the Suns. Not David DuPree, or Tony Mejia, or John Hollinger of ESPN. In fact, 4 of 5 "experts" from ESPN picked the Mavericks, as did 3 of 3 from Sportsline.
I think for you guys to already be playing the "diss" card is ridiculous. Just my 2 cents. Feel free to flame away.

Whatever dude.... did you even look at the link?

If that isn't a "diss", I don't know what one is.

Garmmaton:
"if the suns played the Spurs, the Spurs would win, but Dallas isn't as good as the Spurs so the suns will have it easier playing Dallas"
If you can see logic in that statement, do share it because I always believe the better teams win a 7-game series.

Yes, I saw the link. It pictures representatives of the top four seeded teams. Nothing more.
Certainly the seeding itself has been an issue in these playoffs, but how is this picture a slap? 1 vs 2 seems like a reasonably safe way to go in a promo for a series with yet-to-be-determined participants.

I see a little "logic" in that statement, since we match up "better" with you guys. But how much better is a snowball's chance in Malibu than in Hell? It's not as big a slight as you make it out to be. The Suns are tired and short-handed. I don't see them winning more than 2 games tops.
BTW, is that a direct quote, or are you paraphrasing?

Okay, I'll buy that. The original poster in this thread stated that this was the preview for the Conference Finals. Since 3 of the 4 players pictured are from actual Conference Final teams that seemed plausible. But I can see where your theory is a viable answer to the pictures origins.
But, they've had a bit to change it don't ya' think?
Either way, whatever. It's insignificant in the big picture.
