Default Congrats Mavs Fans!

I'm a Lakers fan, and I just want to say congrats! PLEASE BEAT THOSE DAMN HEAT.

99% of Lakers fans are pulling for your Mavs to knock that fatty Shaq out of the Finals!

Again, Congratulations. I hope you guys are raising the trophy after this series!

Wow. That's just plain weird. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that a lot of Laker fans don't want to see Shaq win another title, and are happy that the Mavs defeated the team that delivered the Lakers a truly heartbreaking loss. Still, it's just something I never thought I'd see.

I'm glad to see it though. It is a VERY nice change of pace from the whiney bitches at Spurstalk and Spursreport.

Shaq may be my favorite non Mav player. I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks of brilliant quotes from The Big Aristotle.

Shaq isn't my favorite non Mav player, but he is one of my favorite sports personalities. I too look forward to hearing and laughing at what he says over the next couple of weeks. I also look forward to his interviews with Corby. Those are always pure comedic genius!

You know, isn't it so much easier not to hate Shaq now that he's not a Laker? xmykro, you seem pretty cool, and I'm glad to see your fellow Laker fans cheering the Mavs, so I'm sorry for dissing your team.

But seriously folks, didn't everyone in the country who wasn't a Laker fan rejoice when the Kobe/Shaq dynasty was dismantled? I just hated that team with a passion. I hated everything about them. Shaq's loud mouth and arrogant as hell attitude made me hate him as much as I've ever hated any athlete.

I could never understand why so many people seemed to find his childish attitude so amusing and refreshing. But then as soon as he left the Lakers, I actually found myself liking him.

I'm okay with shaq as long as referees don't allow him to just bulldog over opposing players like he did for 10(?) years with the lakers.

I stopped watching basketball when I just couldn't stand what basically had turned into a shaq coronation. Hated it.

Other than that, he seems like a fun dude.
