Default J.J. Reddick Meet Ben Roethlisberger

J.J. Reddick arrested for drunk driving

Story by Nick Griffith (Contact)

Durham, N.C. — Police arrested J.J. Reddick, former Duke Basketball star, on charges of drunken driving. Police also charged Reddick with unlawful use of highways for making an illegal u-turn before a police checkpoint.
The Associated Press named Reddick, 21, their men’s player of the year.
A police spokeswoman said authorities revoked Reddick’s driver’s license for 30 days. Reddick will appear in court on July 17th. Reddick said in a statement that he regrets what happened and apologized to his family and the Duke community.

Source: Redick Out For Several Months With Back Injury

13th June, 2006 - 8:43 pm

DraftExpress.com - Duke senior J.J. Redick failed a physical at the NBA pre-draft camp in Orlando and will be out for an extended period with a back problem that may require surgery, according to a source with close NBA contacts.

A representative of Redick’s agent, Arn Tellem of Wasserman Media Group, returned a phone call from DraftExpress and read us the following statement made by Mr. Tellem: “I am confident his draft status is anywhere from 7-14. You can take that to the bank.” When asked whether Tellem is denying or confirming the rumors about Redick’s alleged back problem, the representative said that is all Arn Tellem has to say about the back issue.

Dude is already a spare. I'm thinking Danny Ainge would love to have him.

With all these reports of Duke covering up these crimes the Lacrosse players did in the past, i wonder how many they covered up for their basketball players. Duke is the Harvard of NC, and they're coming across as bored juveniles.

I hold her close until she's gone. I'll never know what she was running from. I'll cash her check in the morning.
