if josh does'nt accept the contract...
if JOSH the MONEY MAN does'nt accept a contract extension....
my option is TRADE for a better player
my suggestion will be LUOL DENG almost the same type of player...GOOD DEFENSIVELY and if we need his offense ita available!!!!
almost the same money in the contract...
much younger i think he's only 21 or 22
more taller 6'9" j-ho is 6'7"
avery will not have prob with the chemistry cause he can do howards' job
can play solid SF position and can alternate to PF position
luol played more games than J-Ho who always get injured...
WHAT do you think???
i love DENG than howard!!!
any suggestions?????????

Ummm.... no. I love Howard more than Deng. Call it biased but that's the way it is. Gotta love your own.

Always clever idea to trade guys for better players. How about Garnett for Josh?

I'd trade Josh for Deng in a heartbeat, and not think twice about it.
Now, would THEY do it? See, there's the rub.

Who said it was schtick, good doctor? Howard is a good player, but he's not a break-the-bank sort of player. His offensive skills are entirely limited. He has almost ZERO ability to create a shot on his own. I wouldn't be devastated by trading him for a younger player with more upside. I don't think think we rely on him that heavily, anyway. In last year's Finals, for example, I think he was pretty much invisible.

wow. ok.
First, Josh Howard >>>> Luol Deng. I strongly disagree with your take on Deng.
I agree that we should not break the bank but a nice sized contract is fair. We should never overpay, but unfortunately Cubes is all about opening the checkbook. I think you undervalue Josh and I certainly do not agree that he lacks the ability to create his own shot. As for the Finals...it was a sophomore year guy playing in the NBA finals. I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt here.

Now that the games are on...
Btw, I hope you realize the latest craze in the Mavs forum (where you're actively researching the IQ of a primate!) was ignited by none other than yours truly.

I would take deng over j-ho because of age and size. He is not as good right now but he will be better.

Thanks, sike. I was just referencing the crazy stuff going on in the "Josh Edgy..." thread.
I still can't stop laughing... just wondering how we ended up from serious Josh contract discussion to discussing a monkey's IQ.

Deng just got signed to a really good deal, I don't think they wanna trade him since most likely he has more upside than Nocioni and in order to trade JHO with Deng contracts must match, and they are nowhere close right now.

Doc can supply many more gay images if you like. He has quite a library. Ha! You thought Alf was the end of it. I'm sorry, my friend. It only scrapes the surface.
