Funny, but in the almost five years I'm here now, he's been the only one to give me negative rep. More than once. And never for any reason at all. Accompanied by insulting PMs. There's a blueprint for a guy you'd hear about in the news when an elderly lady from his neighborhood was interviewed "He was such a charming and well educated man. He could photoshop. A doctor too! I never thought he'd be able to do a thing like that.

Doc is OK in my book. I didn't even mind the Baylor vs. A&M thread ... even though I have connections with the Aggies. I look forward to his return.

Anyone else remember how Doc was miles ahead in sniffing out the pure idiocy of creditXpert2003? It took him about 5 posts, and everyone else about 50.

that could have something to do with the fact that he flames any newbie whos first couple of posts arent completely to his liking. Like i said i think doc is entertaining but lets not act like him flaming a newbie is anything different.

Yes but I remember he gave a pretty accurate description of him early on. Credit devoted a whole thread to congratulating himself for signing up on a thread, and while everyone was welcoming him, Doc noted how arrogant the guy sounded, which I didn't notice until he mentioned it.

This Doc guy... quite the character.
Never had the pleasure of dealing with him myself. Always did seem a bit trigger-happy from what I read of him.

Doc is kinda like that dude that has been living in the frat house for 6 years. He hazes the heck out of new guys, but if you stay in long enough, he'll buy you lots of beer.

I love how we're talking about him like he just passed.

Remember the time Doc stopped a bullet meant for the president with nothing more than a photo-shopped picture of Charles Barkley and Elton John?

Remember how he rapidly flew around world several more times, once again taking Ms. Lane's life? He always said, "Doc always leaves things exactly the way he found it".

I agree with dude...this place is not the same without the doc...none of us are as interesting without his goofish comments yipping at our heels and making us laugh...personally, I really like doc and would say he is easily one of my favorite posters...but then again...so is chum. Both of those guys drive me nuts at times...but I really lke both of them.
but now that doc is banned, who is going to fill his shoes and rack up 300 posts a day?
oh, and murph, I'll take "PMS Doc (which is normal doc)"

Remember the time Pa fell out of a tree trying to get the kite down and broke his ribs? Doc then told him not to get out of bed for a couple of weeks, but Pa had some work to do stacking some feed. If he didn't finish, he'd lose his team of ox. So, Pa just had to try. Well, he couldn't do it even with the help of his family, so Doc and some of the rest of the town came to help him out stacking the feed so that he wouldn't lose his team. Do you remember that?

Murphy, I do remember that very clearly.. but I also remember Doc felt sorry for Mary b/c she was blind...he tried to marry her but she wanted another recently blinded man to take her hand in marriage..THEN he suddenly could see again...Mary was very afraid so she told Doc that he was her back up plan.
