Default Coming to the Playoffs from Australia
Hi dallas-mavs.com,

I used to post here (a long long time ago) as scooterj5.

I'm now 21 years old. I've saved up some money and decided that I'm flying from Australia to visit the US for the NBA Playoffs. I've never seen an NBA game, so I'm obviously pretty thrilled about the trip!

I will be traveling around the US for about 2 months (starting in New York), but I will probably be spending a lot of that time in Dallas to watch the Mavs. At the moment it looks like I'll be traveling from about the 25th of April to the 20th of June.

I was wondering if anyone had any information that might be helpful to me (good places to stay/eat, whether it will be possible to get tickets to the playoffs). Also if there are any young ladies who might like to have a drink with a handsome young Australian lad (www.myspace.com/sjay2k), please enquire within!!

How much money do you think you'll have to save up for you to be able achieve your plans? Im planning on doing the same thing too. If not this coming playoffs, then in the near future. I also plan on migrating to the US. Maybe stay in Dallas. or in Texas. Anywhere...

i would suggest contacting the guy at mavcowtickets.com for some good deals on tickets.

Agree with this. Ryan from Mavcowtickets is a really good guy and he will give you a good deal. Give him a call (the ticket broking stuff on their site doesnt seem to be working right now, so you'll have to call him anyway).

stubhub.com, texas tickets, trading post, etc. etc. Tons of scalpers, thats about the only way to get playoff tickets. Be prepared to spend 4 times the face value or more for the price of some tickets.
