Default no minus just add and were perfect!!!

i think we should stick to our team just add 1 piece sign jamaal magloire a great defender, has a low post skill, and a big bodied center too....forget about dj dump him and then resign stack and devean(is he a free agent???) i think its perfect we have dampier and diop + willis and magloire... start damp or diop put magloire on their back..... give magloire a perfect minutes because he's proven... a one time all-star if u want low post treat put magloire at center nd dirk at power forward......

just shuffle the line up

if the flow of the game requires magloire to chek in den put him if not put damp or diop...

i think terry could still be our two guard... wats d use of gregy nd george..... they are bring to big D for 3 point purposes and guard those big bustard guards!!!

Is this English?

I think your point is to tweak the bench without touching the core and to that extent I would agree. Even with a first round exit, a 67 win team should not be rebuilding from scratch.

I don't see any way you have Magloire, Damp, and Diop on the team.

Just not enough minutes. If you get Magloire, then he will want to start.

I agree and we still have the problem of a back-court that is too small and not strong enough.

IMO, If Dallas isn't going to make a trade, and I really don't see how they don't move either Devin or Terry this next year, but if no trade is made:

Then Donnie needs to figure out how to use the MLE and LLE to sign Pietrus/Barnes (either one), and PJ Brown.

PJ has some inside game and defense, but is old. He could back up both the PF and C spots. He would have punished GS.
Pietrus and Barnes are bigger guards/SF which with Harris and Howard wouldn't be so small in the backcourt.

I would think this is the minimum that Dallas can do. I think they could do much more.

<edit> oh yea, and make Terry the 6th man. That would be way too much to pay a 6th man, but it would make sense with him as a three point specialist on this team.

He is a free agent. He opted out of his contract.

Really, what IS the use of Gregy and George. I don't think they did a very good job of hitting 3s or guarding big guards. I don't see the Mavs resigning George. And if they can package Buckner, I expect they will.

If we do not make a move involving Terry, then the absolute minimum we need to do is move Stack into the starting lineup and make Terry the 6th man. I don't consider Stack to be a stellar defender, but I'm tired of 2 small guards being abused.

Given that, I am still very much in favor of a trade that would land us ...

1. Paul Peirce - Dirk, Peirce, and Howard would be a sick lineup
2. Corey Maggette - just call him Mr. Free Throw
3. Rashard Lewis - would play the 3 and move JHo to the 2, very good offensively, weak defensively
4. .... i don't know, but I want something ....

I don't want Ricky Davis, he's too much of a head-case and Mike James should be considered a bust. And Ron Artest ...... uh, no.

I would not mind Ricky Davis, he's been on pretty good behavior in Minnesota because he knows that KG's team just like this is Dirk's team. I would put Gerald Wallace in the mix, for some reason, I really want this guy here.

I love Gerald Wallace. Very athletic and a great defender. High FG% and loves to be in the paint. Terry/Buckner for Gerald Wallace in a sign and trade. Charlotte gets the SG they have been longing for and Dallas gets a perimeter defender that loves to slash. Sign Desmond Mason with the MLE and Blake with the LLE. Resign Stack and Cro.

PG: Harris/Blake/Barea
SG: Howard/Stack
SF: Wallace/Mason
PF: Dirk/Cro/Pops
C: Diop/Damp/Mbenga

Well the problem is that Mason is saying that he wants to go and play for the Bucks.
