Have some faith in your team people! And quit living in the past. What's done is done. It's a new season. Players are getting better, coaches are making adjustments and the Mavs have a legit chance to win a championship this year.
GO MAVS!!!

Enjoy the ride, no matter what you think you are not entitled to win a title.

Hope and cheer every year. The wait, no matter how long, just makes the championship that much sweeter.

kind of like when avery adjusted the starting lineup for GS, wade had Barber start this game. Obviously not nearly as significant but just one of those quaint similarities between the two colossal failures

I remember thinking the exact same thing about Warren Moon and the Houston Oilers back in the 1990's.

Amen. Being a sports fan is not bond investing. It's gambling. If your doing it only for the payoff, you'll always be disappointed.

Dallas teams have choked but what can you do? Just pray your team heats up close to the playoffs is your best bet I guess.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. The truth behind the Damp issue really needs to be remembered as we incessantly go over last year's playoff exit.

This thread really makes us look... I don't want to say pathetic, but desperate. After the Cowboy loss i'm sure emotions are running high for some of you, all I can say is man up. It's fine to be upset about your Cowboys losing but don't sulk about the Mavs in January... it's a new season and its going pretty damn good so far.

Avery should have experimented with the lineup during that late meaningless regular season game in Oakland, not pretend he was hiding his cards from Nellie. Didn't he call the next game in Seattle his "playoff rehearsal"? Yuck.
But still, the Mavs usually rise to the competition as well as they play down to it, provided they're paying attention. So I'm optimistic about this year.

Agreed...
Like we need to give folks on the east coast any more ammunition against Dallas fans? (it's hard to defend "your own" when "your own" is whining like a little bitch...)

Then to boot...we here about the Trade!!!
I can't believe that Dallas would actually make this trade...
With LA of all teams...
One of our premier stars for a 2nd round pick and cash.........
What was that all about?
Are we really that desperate?
Have we choked so much that we are giving away value?
Carlos Ruiz to the Galaxy for a 2nd round pick and cash...I can't believe after the Cowboys, Stars, Mavs all choked in the playoffs, the FC Dallas has to choke on player movement.
