All we do is stand around on defense I don't understand it. They were attacking the rim at will tonight. That's a motivation issue

Just from what I'm reading, maybe it's a case of the front office/coach have lost the voice over the team. They just wont listen to what they have to say anymore.

+1,000,000,000
AJ is really wasting Dirk's talent. If this goes on and on, 1st round exit here we come!
We're following the path the Sacramental Queens took a few years ago. This is very painful.

I'm mean, its really good to keep a core intact and build it up, but if you don't get to that end result (one way or another), you're just going to get the same results. Then eventually, it's going to get dull and monotonous and then a grind and then eventually you just lose it. You'll keep hearing the same things over and over and it's not getting your anywhere really. So you just stop listening.
You do the same thing over and over, you will get the same results.

No, if we win, then we'll probably think that we're good again. That'll only sugar coat our gaping holes.
I hope we lose by 40+ pts. to bring these guys into some real boil. Then we'll probably play with some passion. (Or maybe we'll really crack then, I don't know.)

We are having some really horrific point guard play. We do need to make a move because everyone has gotten Jason's number. They crowd him and he can't pass out of it, he doesn't see the open guy.
JJB has the handles but he gets killed defensively, he's not a good enough shooter to hurt someone consistently from the arc, he can't get a mid-range shot off and he gets stopped at the rim.
The braintrust better put their heads together because when devin goes out of the game, the other team is going to blitz jason.
We are shooting bad as well but there just isn't any attack there.

Maybe because he remembers his quote about if he doesn't bring a championship in 3-4 years then he should be fired. Well, Avery... might as well get canned.
Oh wait... Cubes likes his team.

of course i was being sarcastic. Thorn is a greedy a-hole. If we are dealing with Memphis, then there must be a possibility. Kwame for Pau? who would have thought of it?

Thee Mavs won't get blown out by Portland... they are playing at home. The Mavs suck on the road... not at home.

Yeah, I was going to say that. Your test is going to favor Dallas b/c it's a home game. But if they DO lose that, oh boy.
And it looks like they WILL get to face the experimental Suns with Shaq on Thursday. If they can't shoot in that game, goodness. The Suns will look like world-beaters and the front office will get praised for getting Shaq.

That's going to be a very tough one to win no matter what. It's the 8h game in 12 days, 4th in the last 5days, a back-to-back and 3 of those 4 have been on the road.
All short-handed without stack, devin, damp, josh possibly. tough...

Jason Terry still has trade value. That is one positive here. Terry might be the best shooter on this team yet he couldn't hit a road jumpshot to save his life against the zone. You better get rid of him while he can get you something in return.
I have always loved Avery but when guys can't hit open shots against the zone and they are good shooters then the coach is to blame. Obviously Avery doesn't practice against the zone and hasn't learned his lesson yet.

oh goodie. Smush Parker.
So basically we are telling teams to buy out their players and then promising to use the MLE on them... just like we were going to do for Shaq only miami didn't bite.

Smush Parker???
Oh please. I hate Terry so much, but I'd prefer the Jet over Smush any day of the week. Give me the other Parker, please, (preferably without Eva)...

Take what? It's a rumor page & it doesn't even say that Cassell is a possibility - it just uses him & Smush Parker as an example of what type of player we can get with our MLE... Try reading, processing and understanding before you go around spreading unfounded rumors...

Mavs could use exception for Cassell or Smush Parker
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban didn't close the door on the team doing something before the trading deadline. But it seems unlikely.
He said that's why the Mavericks kept their mid-level exception this summer rather than use it on a free agent or two. If somebody wants to buy out a player — say, Sam Cassell, Smush Parker or somebody of that ilk — the Mavericks would have more than $5 million to spend.

Dude, maybe you should try reading, you said it doesn't even say cassell is a possibility but on the first line it said "mavs could use exception for cassell or smush parker", to me that sounds like a possibility, it's a slim possibility but there is still a chance so STFU

I did read it... Once you get past the headline (which I doubt you did), it says we could use our MLE for a TYPE of player like Cassell or Parker, and NOWHERE in the 3-line article does it say we're going after either player...
Don't get mad at me - you pointed out your own ignorance...
This just in: Mavs could use their MLE to acquire Kobe Bryant...
(look - I just posted a rumor... by your logic it must be a POSSIBILITY...)
