Did you guys see the end there when the East was shooting free throws? Kidd bounced the inbound pass off Dirk's foot in the previous play and when the free throws were being shot Dirk and Kidd were talking throughout the whole thing, high-fiving each other. Good stuff!

I turned off the TV after the West started fouling. Guess one of them heard about the deal. After being pretty seriously upset by the deal last week, I've come around to it. Devin was great and he will be for years to come, but the fact of the matter is, Dirk Nowitzki is the best player to ever wear a Mavericks uniform and may be for a long time. We can't waste that opportunity.

During last year's All-Star game, Dirk looked unenthusiastic, lazy, and worn-out... That theme pretty much continued until the Mavs lost at the hands of the Warriors (at least in his body language, if not his stat line...)
This year he looked energized, motivated, and like he was having fun... Hopefully that theme continues until he wins a title...
