New Rotation...
I've almost come to terms with this new look Mavs, so I thought I'd start a thread on our new rotation. What are you predictions for our new rotation?
I just hope we make a few other acquisitions before all is said and done.
C - Damp (28)/Ju-Ho(12)/Bass(8)
PF - Dirk(38)/Bass(10)/George(garbage mins.)
SF - J-Ho(38)/Stack(12)/Wright(garbage mins.)/George(garbage mins.)
SG - Jones(14)/Terry(26)/Stack(8)/Wright(garbage mins.)
PG - Kidd(38)/Terry(10)/JJB(garbage mins.)
that's how I see it working out. What do you guys think?

I think Bass is gonna get some serious burn now. He's gonna turn into a poorer version of the old KMART

If he will learn to defend like the "old" KMart, then I am all for it.
Right now, I see if Damp gets in early foul trouble, Dallas is hurting because they don't have anyone who can defend the rim with him out.

Dampier 28 - Vet Center (to be signed) 15 - Bass 5
Nowitzki 36 - Bass 12
Howard 36 - George 12
Terry 20 - Stackhouse 20 - George 8
Kidd 36 - Terry 12
Another possibility:
Dampier 28 - Bass 20
Dirk 38 - George 10
Howard 36 - Stackhouse 12
Terry 20 - Stackhouse 8 - Jones 20
Kidd 36 - Terry 12

This Kidd move needs a 2nd move and that's to find a paint ass hole behind Dampier.

You know, Juwan Howard is perfectly capable of contributing. How much of him have you actually seen this year? I'll have you all know he not only once was a very capable player in this league, but averaged near double digits in scoring on a team with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. As much as I'd like one of those athletic bigs that Kidd tends to have field days playing along side (K-Mart, Sean Williams), Howard is serviceable IMO.

True, he can hit the 10-15 footer consistently, he will work well with Kidd.

Something about the phrase "paint ass hole" keeps making me giggle. Oh, and I share Sike's confusion.

He is a very solid player with good length on him as well. There should be alot of chances for him here. He was starting for a while with the Nets, until Jefferson got back. He is a good player that I think will thrive if given a chance. I think we may see him at the SG spot getting alot of minutes at times.

Kidd 32 minutes Terry 16 minutes
Howard 20 minutes Terry 16 minutes Stackhouse 12 minutes
George 20 minutes/Howard 16 minutes Stackhouse 12 minutes
Nowitzi 36 minutes Bass 12 minutes
Dampier 32 minutes Bass 16 minutes
That starting lineup is our best defensive and rebounding team we have.
