ESPN Power Rankings- Cowboys #1!!!
I don't know some people may not think this is thread worthy, but I think it's pretty cool. I'm sure for the first time since they were a Super Bowl winning team the 'Boys are ranked #1 in something. Here's the top 5
1. Cowboys
2. Steelers
3. Giants
4. Packers
5. Eagles
We play the Packers next Sunday night in GB, and the Steelers and the Eagles play next week too. Can't wait for Week 3!

Well deserved. Only thing they need to do is tighten the defense and stop taking penalties.

Not sure how the 1-1 Eagles are ahead of the 2-0 Panthers, Cardinals, Patriots, Bills, Titans, and Broncos.

I figure 3 of those teams will stay there, more than likely the top 3. The other two will shuffle each and every week. Carolina is going to be a scary team this year.

It's not all about Wins and Losses... if it were, then you'd just rank them by record and then alphabetically from there.. It's about how good you look in the games that you've played. Sure, wins and losses play a big role, but they are not everything when it comes to power rankings.

Well put it this way... Do you think another team will score 37 points on the cowboys this year?

If there is one team...it's the one we're going to see on Sunday Night.

If that's the case, I'd still put Carolina on that list. Chicago had an awesome win vs Indy on opening weekend and Carolina beat Chicago. They also took SD to the limit as well and beat them right at the end.

It depends on Romo, because he gave them 14 points the other night. But mostly, it's going to depend on how potent our offense is, we scored way too quickly on Monday and you could see that our defense was extremely fatigued.

Yeah alby, but not every team has the ability/weapons to take advantage of that situation. I think the Packers are one of those few teams on our schedule that can.

How bout those Packers...man did they ever light up our Defense...16 points!!!
What 3 FG during meaningful time and one TD during garbage time after the Cowboys were up by 3 scores. Wow, that Packer offense is really something...kinda reminds me of a certain Basketball team...they look good on paper and score a ton of points, but when push comes to shove, they just lose...
Great win for the Cowboys, 3-0 to start the year for the 2nd consequtive season, first time since what 75-77 seasons!!! Not even Troy Aikman and the dominance of the 90's could do that...with a highlight run by Felix Jones and some additional gamebreaking plays by none other than Terrell Owens.
The Cowboys could very well be "Americas Team"...but to me they are "Showtime in Big D"

Denver Broncos are a superior team to the Bills. Buffalo barely escaped a date with the lowly Raiders in their own house, and the Broncos managed to destroy Oakland 41-14 in the black hole. Hopefully Denver's defense isn't as bad as it has looked against two of the better offenses in the NFL, they should gain some confidence against KC this week hehe.

They probably factored in the fact that the Bronco's really lost to the Chargers and should be 2-1 right now.
