He's going back to Germany after the Mavs.

Hopfully not until he's 35 or something. After his current contract he is 33 and he would still own the entire German league single-handed... He has definitely enough gas to play at least two more years after 2011 inside the NBA.

Don´t think so. Germany is not exciting enough for the Dörk. He will stay in Texas and do gardening or so. And now that he has a girlfriend...

I saw a video where he said he wanted to go back and play in Germany when he doesn't have it anymore.
He'll still be able to compete in his country, and also build a lot of support for the sport in the area.

That actually would move basketball in germany to the TV-front-row. But i can´t imagine Dirk playing with those players. Dirks face after the olympics told everything.

Yes, I saw that one too. I also read it in some newspapers. But hopefully not after 2011. He stated that he doesn't want to play in the NBA if he cannot stay along with the other players anymore. And he doesn't want to play in the NBA with 36 or even being older. But to leave with 33? C'me one, at least he should play in the NBA until he's 35. He's a gym rat and I'm damn sure he will still bring it on the table until 2013.
