So are we cheering for Tampa Bay or Atlanta. I think we want Atlanta to lose, but if we could win out a Tampa Bay loss might help us out a little more.
I think I want the Falcons to lose more here to give us a little more cushion.

I find it interesting that the Falcons are stubbornly trying to run the ball so much here in the early going.

I guess the reason is that they have about 50 yard rushing already in the first quarter.

That was some ugly throw to Bryant on that last play.
It looked like Griese put everything he had on it and he was lunging forward.

Well regardless of what we want, it looks like we are going to have to settle for a Tampa loss.

Andre Johnson 6 catches 144 yards and a TD, in the first half. Wish I had him on my Fantasy team right now.

I've been a little bored with this first set of TV games. Granted I was really excited to see the Ravens/Steelers game and the Cowboys game...so this was going to be a letdown of sorts.

Wow, don't look now but the winless Lions just tied the Colts at 21 here in the fourth. I don't really think the inept Lions can keep up with the Colts down the stretch, but then again anything can happen.

Griese has been ugly in parts of this one and the Tampa D has shut down the Atlanta offense.

And the Bucs are going to blow this one. Gruden tries to make a 53 yard field goal instead of going for it on fourth down. Sorry Tampa Bay, but Matt Bryant is no Nick Folk.

Um..Favre was beyond the line of scrimmage there. And he should have run anyway.

I wonder, does Matt Ryan look like a rookie? I really wish these announcers would answer this quandary for me.

Well, well, well, the Bucs get a timely blocked punt. Let's hope the Bucs offense doesn't screw this thing up.

What a block. Did anyone see the ATL coach get up in the grill of Bryant? That was pretty sweet.

What a crazy play in the Jets game.
What on earth was Losman doing there? He knew the guy was coming and still fumbled.

Looks like OT in Atlanta...
Playoff fortunes of many decided by a coin flip.
So stupid.

That was so tragic. Everyone watching knew exactly what was going to happen. Stupid idiot needed to throw that one away or just hold on to it or something.

How come you never see a kicker run away from his team mates, find the nearest camera, do some kind of gay dance, pound their chest and yell and scream into the air to no one in particular like every defensive player who makes a tackle does?
Weird. They're the ones scoring all the points.

Why??? Why would you not take a chance down the field?
You might not get that football back.
And there it is, they lose the toss. Idiotic. They were too conservative all day and that's a perfect microcosm of it right there at the end.

Tampa's secondary has pretty much had Ryan's number today, they didn't want to take their chances there.

Plus it's not like the Bucs are sporting a Cardinal-esque offense out there.

Yeah, after watching this whole game I'm not sure why Flac's assuming that Tampa's going to march right down the field after that coin toss.
They might, but I doubt it.

That's why I was thinking Atlanta would take a shot at the end of the game. If TB intercepts the ball way down the other end of the field with 17 seconds left how worried would they really need to be?
Either way, Atlanta gets it done on D so you guys are right.

Wow. Tenn just gift wrapped that one for Houston.
They have Bironas...what were they thinking?
I love how the Titans and the Giants really aren't very good any more. Who's going to win the super bowl? The playoffs are going to be fun.

That was some run by Slaton there. Rook, you might wanna stay in bounds though to run out the clock.

With all of our receivers hating each other and hating Romo, I hope we aren't in the same boat.

Man...so they'd rather go to the talking heads and the pre-game instead of seeing the houston/tennessee finale.
Good gried...hate tv sometimes.

falcons win....what's that do for us? off the top of my head, i think wins against the giants and eagles will lock it up, and what happens v. the ravens won't matter...that's assuming two out of three (falcons, tb, or bears) lose again, i guess.

It feels like at the end of every season Houston gets on a nice little streak to end the year when they're out of the picture and the pressure is off.
That's a SOLID win for Atlanta, they faced a tough Defense and hurt Ryan's passing game for most of it and Turner came up huge for pretty much the entire game. Atlanta's D didn't give up anything major that could hurt them.
Now for the bone-crushing game...
