Seriously, like I said all season long, Garrett you are an idiot for not giving this kid more carries
But at least you have finally learned.

Aaron Ross covering Roy on that play. Two former UT greats. I wonder if Aaron chided Roy and asked him where his national championship ring was.

I accidentally left him in my starting lineup for my fantasy team instead of Barber.
Looks like it turned out alright anyways.

You know what, DeMarcus Ware has a real shot at Strahan's record.
He's 3.5 sacks away with 2 games (and change) to go.

that was a stud performance by the d. notwithstanding flaco's point about the g's missing plax and brandon jacobs, that was still an nfl team with a quality line, a good quarterback and a capable running back. how many td's has this squad given up since the first nyg game? a couple, maybe?!? this group is playing well.

I love Romo.
That gutty performance and the interview after the game just confirms why.

The D is finally a championship-level defense. It took long enough, but if they keep playing at this level, this team has a very real shot at the Super Bowl.

Just to weewee on your parade, Hixon was also banged up and questionable for the game. The Cowboy's defense has had to face the likes of Washington (nada), San Fransisco (sexually-confused), Seattle (poopoo), Pittsburgh (pathetic), and Giants (bandaid). We'll see what they are really made of when they face Philly in Philly.

... Uhh, sure there buddy. Let's wait to see what they can do against a team with some real offense?

I'm not saying they are the 85 Bears, 01 Ravens, or this year's Steelers. But if the offense plays close to where it can, then they don't need to be. They just need to be pretty good. That's what I consider "championship-level", at least for this team this year.
And I don't think it's a stretch to call a defense that just laid down 8 sacks pretty good. That's all the Cowboys need.

Interesting point. If I consider that, then maybe the Cowboy's defense really is #1!!! My mistake!!

No doubt the Cowboys are a better defensive team. In the beginning of the season, I would have had them in the lowly pit of NFC. Since the Tampa game, I think Phillips taking control of the blitzing has made this defense into what the Chargers had a few years ago. However, I'm holding my judgement to consider them top tier until they meet a relatively healthy offense that has been known to dice up defenses (i.e. Philly possibly).

I hope Choice is getting 40% of the carries from now on when Barber gets healthy. The Cowboys need to go to a two-back system. This Barber injury is a blessing in disguise because they have been needing to do this all season long, but they refused for some reason because the rooks hadn't proven a lot or whatever. Hopefully Choice's performance has shown that the two-back system is the best way to go.

I know this is a LONG way off, but what do you do with Felix when he comes back?
Come up with a cheesy nickname for the 3 headed monster?

So did Ware win Defensive Player of the Year today? I hope he turned some voter's heads with another 3 sack effort today.
