If Terrible-Mac was playing yes. They're a better team without him though.

Of the 7 teams possible in Portland would be the ideal 1st round match up. Unfortunately they have little chance of moving up enough to have home court advantage, in order for us to face them. Which means, we are either going to have to move up to the third or fourth to face them in the first. My second favorite match up is a balls to the wall match up against the spurs. Its a go big or go home match up, but a familiar foe none the less. then Houston, Nuggets. The foes that are almost guaranteed 1st rd exits for us would be Utah, Hornets, and fLakers. we definitely want to get into the secodn round and see how things shake before facing these teams

I still think we would be best suited to go against the Lakers rite away.
I guess we'll get a lil preview this sunday : )

Therefore we would need to be either #4 or #5 (better #4 due to homecourt advantage). Assuming that San Antonio gets the second spot, Denver has to take #7 then. NO at #3 and the Jazz at #6 would seal this solution with Houston at #5.

If something like this happens, however unlikely, and the Blazers upset the Lakers and we beat hte Rockets, then things actually are looking real good for us.
And I think there's a better chance of this happening than us winning the loto...

Uhm, "2nd best team in the league" would be a nice change-up from who we're projecting against..

there's still time. We're not that far out of 3rd place, much less 6th or 7th.

Portland would be a good deal. But this would also mean that POR and DAL move to #4 and #5. Looking especially on the last games of the regular season, i don´t think that this is a realistic realistic. So it will be LAL, SAS, HOU or maybe DEN. NOH - don´t think so.

Just placed my yearly EUR 50 on the Mavs to (finally) win the NBA title at 66/1.
I like the Spurs or Blazers in the 1st round, too
Go Mavs

Well in that case, I want the Pismo Beach Panthers (Nellie's mythical NBA cellar dweller).
EDIT: Sorry bernardos, you beat me to it!!! But seriously, the Mavs match up well with the Panthers.
