Scrubs like Wright, Green, Carrol and Singlton are trying to show: "we do not deserve a single minute in the future games"

As Green was hopping to the back, I can imagine Casey Smith (trainer) saying
"Give it about 5 minutes, then I'll be back there....I'm sure there is an ice pack over there for now"
Poor Green, no one helped him haha.

Great game!!
Only thing I'm worried about is it was over so fast and hopefully we don't lose our rhythm for Saturday. Spurs get a lot of rest tonight and basically will go balls to the wall Saturday afternoon to get homecourt back. Dallas needs to forget about this win asap and work for game 4. Because if they get cocky and blow that game, this game means nothing at all.
And yea, Hollins, Green, Wright, Carroll and Singleton were god awful. I hope we don't have to depend on any of those guys.
I retract my statement about wanting to see Hollins. I don't want to see him any more in this series.

Did we tire our players much? Spurs got a lot of rest. This worries me, coz this looks like a strategy by Pops

Obviously we don't want them to get cocky, and taking Game 4 would be huge, but to say a win in a playoff series would "mean nothing at all" is a bit odd.

It only pays off if the Spurs win the next game - otherwise they gave one up for nothing!
(plus, our guys got a lot of rest too...)

When we start playing the games in Asia, we'll call it Sunday. Until then, we'll call it Saturday.

I did that long before the game started - the outcome was predictable...

But technically if the series is 2-2, none of these games meant a thing and all the momentum from a blowout is gone. Spurs had big time momentum after Monday night and now that doesn't matter at all. Mavs have big momentum and can put a stranglehold on this series but if they lose and it is 2-2 with 2 out 3 in San Antonio, yes, this and the other 3 games mean nothing at all for either team.

That's just not true. Winning Game 3, if they end up losing Game 4, means that the series is 2-2 instead of 3-1 Spurs.
There is no such thing as a playoff game "that means nothing at all."

I'm guessing Blackspider means that the momentum, series lead, and any other tangible advantage all comes to naught with a loss in Game 4.

Surely that's what he's getting that as far as momentum, but I don't think that's true either. Both these teams are the type that come out angry after a loss. Game to game momentum is minimal, as we've seen in the first three games.

That was one of the most dominating performances on defense and overall I have ever seen out of the Mavs.

That's exactly what I mean. When a series is tied 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, the previous games don't matter and even if you beat them by 50 and had the most dominating performance in history, it all comes down to the next pivotal game. So if Dallas goes and lays an egg in game 4, this dominating performance will be lost and S.A. will have momentum back and this team is not good on the road and will be tough to win game 5 or game 7 for this year's team.
And when you say it could be 3-1 Spurs, yea in your theory that is correct but what I'm trying to explain, you take this game as the result it is and judge game 4 after it is over. And if it's 3-1 Dallas, then the 1st 4 games meant something because someone has a lead. If it's 2-2 tie, then those first 4 games were a wash and you start all over in a best of 3.
I'm not downplaying this win at all. But seriously, I won't be satisfied unless they win game 4 along with this win. Ask anyone, that is all that is acceptable really at this point. You have to take advantage when you get a series lead, something they did not do in game 2 at all.
