#18...yes
I still think this is a great opportunity for Dallas. Considering they went 0-7 vs Denver this year, getting a win can really bolster your confidence. I know they don't care about the 0-4 in the regular season but getting a win is huge. I think they've got the right mindset going to Denver. They're not going to be tense or tighten up going there, they're gonna be loose and let it all hang out and still give it all they've got.

I didn't realize that the Mavs have never been swept in a seven game series. Kind of a nice stat. I wonder if franchises like Boston, Chicago, L.A. and S.A. can say the same thing.
Dirk’s been destroying Denver on the blocks this series. I was expecting to see more of that in the regular season. That’s one of the first things Carlisle talked about after getting hired but it never really materialized.
Props to Josh for grinding his way to a 20-10 on a night when he wasn't at his best. That's two straight games where he's come away with a huge offensive rebound in the final two minutes.
I wonder if Carlisle would consider starting Bass in game five. Damp's advantage should be pounding Denver on the offensive glass but it hasn't really happened. Outside of that he's probably not going to give you much. It's not all his fault but we're not shutting down the lane with our without him.

No double or trap on Dirk means he will get an enormous amount of the scoring load. Its the other side of the court that should be top priority.

Either way, they should be looking at a different option other than Damp for this Series. I think it was after Game 2 I started suggesting that Hollins might be a better fit than Damp but Carlisle is looking at Bass' way a lot more than Hollins. It's working though, he's not backing down on Nene and he's staying very active and basically being a pest on Nene.

Indeed, Bass is an option. Nenê is bigger than him, but not by much, plus Bass has the foot speed to keep up with him. I would give him more minutes at center. I'd just be worried about foul trouble.

You mean after lala has thrown sodas at those fans. Or after kenyon's momma's bodyguard turns around and insults some ladies face to the point where she left crying to compose herself. From what I heard the denver contingent was feeling quite bullet-proof that night and lala was the one who got tossed for punches I believe.
Go to the espn1033 to hear Randy Galloways conversation with the lady who was insutled by the group. I expect they were loaded for bear and probalby asked for most of it.
Galloway said the group was minding their own business game 3, but that they completely changed for game 4.

Galloway had some friends sitting around Martin's family during game 3 and according to him the family sat quietly the entire game. They didn't even cheer when Carmello hit the three. Cut to last night and Ortegal said that this was the first time he's ever seen fans (in this case Martin's family) have to be escorted out of the arena through the tunnel. That sort of sorryness from our fans almost makes me not care if we win or lose. I have to remind myself that Nuggets fans are just as sorry.

Galloway re-iterated that today. Then was talking to the lady sitting behind them and said the group was completely different in game 4. Belligerent, loud-mouthed, insulting (especially the bodyguard who was tossed along with lala) and seemed to instigate much of it.

No...only during both national anthems.

Bass is getting killed on the boards. Especially when he goes against anderson. You might have something there, get bass in early and dampier in there against anderson.

Certainly the press....compliments of Cuban....putting a magnifying glass on the situation didn't help.
I am not going to excuse classes jackassery by anyone...we can agree that anyone who committs a classless act is in the wrong. Kenyon Martin was a complete and utter moron after the game. Anyone who threw anything at anyone for any reason is a moron. There are morons on both sides of this....Cuban was one for doing what he did....and one could argue that one incident...blown way out of proportion by the media....had more to do with fanning the flames than anything else.

Of course they were. That doesn't surprise me. They were looking for trouble, I'm sure they thought that was going to be the last game. I hope the series makes it back here! I want to see them tossed again.

I tried to explain to you newbs that he he was doing good in the SA series. SA simply devoted their whole defense to stopping him. Denver hasn't.
