he sucks as a jumpshooter i know. i'm saying his aptitude on running the pick and roll, not his handles.

Lebron and wade are both amazing at running the pick and roll and kobe is when he has someone else to run it with.

if we're curious whether or not a guy who never won a playoff series will ever be as good as he once was, im not too concerned. hes a great basketball player but he is not a winner.

Nope. We just know how to think for ourselves, unlike others. And I'm pretty sure I'm not fond of joining the band wagon of any kind.

It's only basketball. No Mavs are on the USA, Dirk is most of our favorite player's and we choose to root for him. Nothing wrong with that.

I think the same threats we had this past year: Spurs, Heat, Stern, in no particular order.

The pesky Warriors! Didn't they beat us three times last year? God knows how they did that, but I was happy we didn't have to face them in the playoffs.

I dont remember exactly which one it was, but one of those games involved a late 3 pointer and me breaking my first directv remote of the season. (the second one was during the spurs series)

Yeah the one where Richardson spun around himself and then just launched it. It must have been the last game they had against us. The reason why it was really painful was because a) we were still chasing the spurs for best conference record and they had just lost b) dirk scored 51 points, which was a personal and franchise record for most points scored in regulation (his 53 against the rockets were in overtime).

And it also came after we had lost the last game we played against them on a BD buzzer beater

We proved we could tough it out in the playoffs... TD is a year older, Nash is a year older, and we got better in the offseason. No other playoff teams did much besdies Chicago.

I honestly see us having the best regular season record, and winning the championship without going over 6 games in a series.

Try to sell me on another team, it might be harder than you think.
San Antonio maybe. Cleveland and Detroit would have the best chances to win a series against Dallas.

Because of the 2006 Finals, I do not see Miami beating the Mavs under any circumstances. There is too much motivation on the part of the Mavs.

We're going to go 82-0 in the regular season and get swept 4-0 in the finals of the playoffs by Lebron single handedly thereby making him the undisputed best/more marketable athlete in the world... ever. And at such a young age too...

I think that there is a big chance that the Warriors will be able to beat us this coming season given the fact that their new had coach is Nellie.

I think it will be very interesting to see how the Pistons repond to everything that happened in the playoffs last year, plus losing big Ben. I know he was the most outspoken one about the coach and the lack of defensive preparation, but you have to think some of that attitude will carry into the next season even without him....

On the other hand they added Nazr Mohamed, and Flip Murray (right?), and their rotation might be a little deeper than it was last year. and I like that guy they have Delfino.

I still see them on the decline though.
