Yes. I post in two places exclusively. My house, which I share with three other individuals, alos at the university computer lab which I share with 12,000 other individuals. I know at least two of my roommates post from the only computer we have. If muliple accounts on one IP address is against the rules, I guess I can't avoid that, and will speak with my roommates. But I did not see that indicated in the rules.

Bottom line, I love the intellectual superiority of someone that got involved in a thread on a Dallas Mavericks message board so that they could try to send Cuban a message. Meanwhile Cuban has his own blog, numerous web sites of his own with his own contact info, and it's widely known that ANYONE can contact Cuban via email.

Priceless.

Heh. You should of seen when ol' Leroy tried to contact Cuban via the Edmonton Oilers' message board. Boy did he have egg on his face then.

He can't tell distinguish his Cavaliers from his 49ers, but we still love him.

Well okay... so you talk to them about this thread then and that's their purpose? Because all 3 of the other accounts from the IP address were created within the last week.

I understand a University or Business having multiple users that might post on this site, but 4 accounts in one week is a bit odd behavior. And add to that the only post made by the other accounts was in this thread.

So my apologies if I misjudged this, but the facts smelled fishy.

To be honest, I recruited them for the cause, even though it seems to have gone wayward. They were never that interested anyway.

It was a bit juvenile of me. But when the first response you get upon posting a serious thread (on a message board, no less) is "get the hell out of here", reactions can be as irrational. The pretense for civil discourse was stripped away before any had even begun.

I know this is, essentially, a basketball message board; but the post was in the political section of the message board. I realize further that some don't like that anyway, but they have the simple choice of avoiding the thread and moving on to the important things in their life. Since the OP knows nothing about sports and hadn't even heard of The Dallas Mavericks or Mark Cuban before initiating the thread, it seemed logical to contact him here. A simple post correcting the OP and directing him to the appropriate resource likely would have solved the issue.
