Harden bitching because he got stripped and then a 3 to seal the loss. I really dislike clippers but I hate rockets and clippers had no business winning this game. So awesome

Rockets came out tonight acting like their fans. Like a round 1 series win meant something. And with no CP3 it would be an easy win in game 1. On the night Harden lost the MVP he has 9 TO's. He had under 10 ft's, I'm sure Rocket fans are crying about the officials tonight.

No not this Rockets this rockets fan. They just wanted it more and played harder last night even without CP3. I admit it was embarrassing but the good
thing is that this is a seven game series. Harden cant have anymore trash games.

Yup-Yup. 3/8 shooting 5 turnovers 6 assists. Of his 3 made shots 2 were layups with Deandre on the bench. Most of their points in the paint came when Deandre was on the bench. Yes I'd love for more Rocket fans to come here with the excuse of teams keying in on him and he is letting the game come to him when he is a MVP candidate. At this rate CP3 is going to take the entire series off.

The Clippers thought it was going to be easy without Harden and had already checked another "W".

Biggest change was shutting down Griffin in 2nd half and Terrence Jones finally showing up. Dwight did his usual.

I agree clips took the foot off the gas when Harden went out. Clips need more from their role players, especially when cp3 is out. Harden got major help from his team. When he went out he had another garbage game. His team stepped up and took control of the momentum and to Harden's credit he came right in and got ft's and got his rhythm. It's still disgusting to see him have 15 ft's and Rockets as a whole to have 64. That was like 4 off a playoff record. Hack-a_____ wasn't even overly used to get to 64. Clips lost this on the boards and their awful offense in the second half. If CP3 is out you can't get killed on boards and be inefficient on offense and expect to win. Hope to see CP3 back next game.

Also don't forget Harden had the best +- for both teams at +14......

Didn't have a lot of time, but I watched a few minutes. Every 30 seconds there were FTs. After 5 minutes, I was disgusted and left. Not even in a post hack-a-Shaq world should the NBA have 96 FTs.

I complained during the Houston-Dallas series that there was no momentum, no excitement, and no flow. This game was even worse. Just unbearably slow.

They had a 23-0 run I believe there to close the 3rd and open the 4th? I didn't check the foul situation but why didn't mchale at least try to disrupt the momentum with a few hacks on Jordan in the 3rd? Also I saw several times where Dwight had posted up and was calling for ball or calling for a repost and they went away, making dwight drops his hands shaking his head. Dwight was playing great in the first half and his teammates seemed to freeze him out. DH12 can't be happy with how that 3rd quarter went.

--Edit-- Also first half Houston killed clips at the 4 attacking the paint. Not the same plan in the 3rd for some reason.

Yup at the beginning of the series I said the one place where we really had the clear disadvantage was at coaching....

I am beginning to think the offense needs to run through Dwight as a first option...

It was something about a video play review to know how much time was left on the clock when it when out of bounds.

Thats not a gameplan to win the game, thats a longterm plan to get this tossed during the summer. They have Dwight, Capela, they want to re-sign Josh Smith. Morey will do everything to get a rule change.

And he started it with telling McHale to foul Jordan like 30 times. Its so damn obvious, McHale never used the rule and now he does it like that?`lol...thats all Morey.

It's kind of embarassing that the Hack-a-Shaq practice may be legislated out of existence because of its unwatchability, when it is so clearly a poor strategy to use.

Here's a recent quote from Adam Silver on that strategy:

Well hack a Jordan isn't working. I don't see why you'd change the rule if it doesn't give the team abusing it an advantage.

I don't think it'll happen in game 5.
