 Lakers sign free agent Pelle -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Associated Press EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) _ The Los Angeles Lakers signed free agent forward Stephane Pelle on Tuesday. Pelle averaged 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in five games for the Lakers' Summer Pro League team in Long Beach. The 6-foot-8 Pelle averaged 12 points and 9.3 rebounds as a senior last season at Colorado, where the Cameroon native was the first player in 11 years to average a double-double.
