Lions claim Reggie Swinton off waivers
I think this is the 2nd time, that a team has picked up a player we had in training camp. the week we play them. It was Woody first, now Swinton. Do you guys think they picked him up because they are thin at the position, or to get a heads up on the competition? LOL

I don't think it is a coincidence. I also don't think it will help much 6 weeks into the season, when he hasn't been here in 3 weeks.
They do need a body at wide receiver, though.

Thier punt and kick returner is hurt. I doubt Swinton could tell them anything they couldn't learn by watching film.
