Stars lose to Colorado 3-zip. Yikes!
What's happening to the Stars? Has Modano fallen so far? I don't think I've seen such a big drop in one year.

What an absolute waste. Turco was actually playing well for once.
As far as I can tell, Mo is coming around. Zubov on the other hand... Let's just say the people on the Stars boards were calling for him to go ahead & put on an Avs jersey, since he was helping them more than us. Turnover Machine. Tipp is back for the Anaheim game. I will be extremely surprised not to see some significant benchings. Enjoy the view from the press box, Zubov.

i agree there, mavsfanatik, what is wrong, how can a team be that good last year, only lose a couple players and decline so much??

NHL is a very weird league. 2 years ago, Carolina makes it to the stanley cup and loses to Detroit. The next year, they are dead last in the eastern conference. Last year, the Minnesota Wild make it to the 2nd round after being last in the western. Maybe this is the year the Stars are cursed.

The only good thing is no one in the West is really doing that great this year. The Wings are inconsistent, the Avs keep getting injured (Kariya got rocked by Morrow last night, reinjured the same wrist that he just got back from). Only Vancouver & St. Louis are really rolling.
So despite the extreme suckage of the Stars, they're still right there, only 2 points behind LA in the division. (& Remember the "Mighty" Ducks, who went to the SCFs last year, started out 0-5.)
