Not surprising. They're used to playing without Webber and their core remains intact. They just added Brad Miller.

Keep in mind though; playing lower rung teams at home has fueled their recent run. Arco is still a though place to play.

I thought Brad Miller was an "overrated player"...but looking at his stats. He's definetly proving me and a lot of people wrong.

I was hoping he would be a "BUST" ...cause Kings are my most hated team. Oh well..can't have everything.

Scary thing is.... Although Kings don't have Webber and are playing weak teams.....there killing teams in recent games.

Look at there stats in the NBA:

Kings' league-leading 47.5% field goal percentage - #1

Kings league-best 43.3% three-point shooting - #1

Kings league-lead in points per game - #1

Kings league-lead in assist per game - #1

are they the best in the NBA.............hope not

Interesting stat headcat, it says a lot.

Anyway, the Kings have been scoring well, but their defense has been dreadful. Scoring will win you a lot of games against average to poor teams, so it's no wonder the Kings have won something like 6 straight. But it's clear that DC is getting old and for some odd reason Bibby isn't himself, probably still recovering from the fractured foot, making the Kings backcourt weak defensively. Knowing that Miller isn't exactly an intimidating center and that Vlade is getting older and definitely slower and more whiny, the Kings frontcourt also looks (and is) very weak defensively.

Anyway, the teams you play, in what succession you play them, and where you play them obviously means a lot to a team's record. Kings have played weak teams, with no back to backs during their streak, and all at Arco. Overall, pretty much the easiest schedule you can have. Now if the Lakers win today (likely) and win their next four games against Spurs twice, the Mavs once, and the Pacers once (two on the road against the Spurs and Mavs and two on the road against the Spurs again and the Pacers) then that'll definitely be a worthy winning streak. But the Knicks, or Celtics, or Hawks are just weak sauce teams, plain and simple.

I sure hope Bibby isn't still recovering from his foot injury. I think he's looked pretty much completely healthy, and has put up solid numbers all year long so far. He's never been a great defender, and doubt he ever will be unfortunately.

We do have yet to play any "tough" teams, and we've looked pretty shoddy on the road. This home stand has given us some confidence, and hopefully the team will be able to do the same against the good teams later. Still a lot to prove, but I am definitely encouraged to see how well Brad has been playing and looking forward to Webber coming back.
