Rumor of Rasheed to SA for Rasho
If that goes thru, is it good or bad for the Mavs. On one hand, its an upgrade to talent. On the other, can Duncan stabilize Rasheed's attitude?

That's bad for all teams, especially team with no interior defense.
Why in the world would Portland do that? Nash would be booed out of that organization.

I can't imagine Rasheed wouldn't bring more than Rasho. He's a great player when he wants to be and his contract is now an asset. A Duncan/Wallace frontline would be scary, but I can't see Portland doing this.

What is the source of the rumor. Do salaries work out or is this just another BBS wet dream.
It works for both teams talent wise if you ask me. I was at the game last night and Rasho was pathetic. I've been saying that stiff could be a huge let down to the Spurs since day one. Bringing in Wallace would be terrific for the Spurs even though that moves TD to the 5 spot I still see it as a huge positive for them. With the play of Zach last year and this year I don't think they would miss Sheed all that much, plus they would have a legit 7-foot starting center. I'm not sold on that Stephania (sic?) guy yet and 6'9, 6'10 Dale Davis doesn't cut it anymore for the Blazaaahs. It looks like a win win IMO except for non-Spurs fan.

On Spurs board they had a link to the NY Post with an article by Fred Kerber. Kerber is worse than Vecsey and Stephen Smith (is that possible??) He has a one line sentence that the Blazers may be talking to the spurs for Rasho or the Mavs for Jamison and Finley. Around a month late with that one Kerby!!!

It was also reported on a Blazers chat site that Wallace missed yestereday practice from oversleeping. Such a talent....such a waste! |
