Without Harpring, I really can't see this being very close! Especially with their recent GREAT performance at Houston. They have heart and hustle, but those things can only get you so far!!!

Mavs win 103-90. I expect a good game by Raja Bell and another good performance from our big 3.

It will be tough for Utah without Harpring, but with solid D they will keep up for a while.
final: Mavs 103-92

RE:Mavs @ Utah Thread
Utah sticks it out to the end. Mavs shoot in spurts but finally pull away in the end of the third.
Lopez and Ostertag have career nights and almost pull off a win. Bell is useless as always.

RE:Mavs @ Utah Thread
We haven't been able to beat a Eastern Conference team on the road yet this year. I think the Jazz are far better than most Eastern Conference team. In fact the only quality win we have on the road is the Lakers. All 3 of our other wins have come with the teams having multilple players sitting out the game.
So I expect us to be close, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs win this one.

I'm scared of this game, after all, it's a road game. I do believe we'll finally win again on the road tonite though.

RE:Mavs @ Utah Thread
Although I'm on holidays tomorrow I won't 'see' (the flash in NBA.com page) the game. I'm ill and I won't able to be awake until 3:00 a.m.
I hope a Mavs win. Nevermind the score, but always a Mavs win. I think we should beat Utah easily, but who knows...
I'm waiting also our big man. Perhaps McCoy?
Go Mavs!!

RE:Mavs @ Utah Thread
Mavs are gonna get on a nice run after thier win over Minny at home.
Nellie is forced to play his best five players most of the minutes due to injuries. Fortson gets more minutes and continues to be an effective rebounder and defensive player during longer stretches. MDan's turn to shine. (Does Marquis have a cool nickname - like JHo or FinDog or Nashty or Potato?) He lights it up and has his career high tonight.
Unless of course Nellie goes small and tries to play Best and Delk too much. And then we go another losing streak and the Fans revolt and run Nellie out of town.

I am very surprised at how well Sloan has these young players with no superstars playing?
Dallas has not been playing well on the road. I think it will be close for 3 but Dallas' depth will overtake the young Jazz.
107 - 99

Pretty strange. Maybe they figure finley can hang with kirilenko. But does that mean that daniels takes over point??
Now it's delk, not best...Durn I hoped it would be fortson and kirilenko makes walk look very, very slow..
UhOH walk hit's his first one..

well, our guards can't box out Stevenson, it doesn't help that tag gets to knock people out of the way with no call.

What are the primary matchups?
Nash on Arroyo, Delk on Stevenson, etc...or is Nellie having Fin guard Stevenson and Delk whatever sf is in there right now?
