Oh, bite me...
Quote:
First, let me say I have no confidence in the Kings coming home with 2 wins from this road trip. They are not playing well right now, and the defense seems to be the worst it has been all year. This game against the Mavs is the easiest game on the trip (besides the Cavs). The Spurs and Rockets will really slow the tempo down and force the Kings to play half court. The Sonics will be tough since it is the last game on this long trip. I was really expecting a win today.
Second, this game solidifies in my mind that the Mavs have no chance this year. The Kings played horrible D, missed open shots, and had way too many unforced turnovers. But they still had this game tied late in the 4th. With Webber, the Mavs have no chance. The Kings will just be way to strong for them in the low post.
If the Kings meet the Mavs in the playoffs with both teams being healthy, the Mavs will have a tough time winning 2 games.

RE:Oh, bite me...
The nicest thing I can say about Kings fans is that they remind me of Steve Francis (the real one). I'm beginning to sort of enjoy the way it really gets under other teams' (and fans') skin when they lose to the Mavs. Suckas!

Nash ... Jack Tripper called and likes your hair.
I actually don't care if the Kings lose to Dallas. I always root for the white guys in basketball....and....well...put it this way... you wouldn't find the Mavs out on the dance floor. Except for Jamison and Walker. Even Finley has hung out with the white dudes for too long and lost his moves.

another pearl of wisdom.
we should start a "best (worst?) quotes form other teams' message boards" contest.

"Oh, Bite me"...has to be the absolute funniest thread name that I've ever seen...Love14...
Now, if anyone hasn't seen or REALLY understood the Nash/Dirk picture yet...they need to get in touch with either PFuzz or me in care of the RashWeed Foundation.

"Don't mix good money with bad money". It would be entertaining for some days -or hours?- in the Lounge. (Where is the "emoticons thread"? I need the "puke" face.)

Chiwas, good idea. It would be great if another mod wants to move it and stick it. (Could work in the lounge, or NBA forum....I'd happily bring the stupid comments I see on other boards here.)

D-M has been a good place for analysis, and is becoming more objective in time. They don't even know what both words -analysis, objectivity- mean or even how to spell them.
To read them allow us to avoid the degradation, but surely a safer way is to read -and post- good sources.
We can keep reading them from time to time to get fun, though.
As OP said it, just check the names; starting with that, one start to laugh. Not to mention the horrendous weird pix they have as avatars [please DJ, never get that sofware!).

RE:Oh, bite me...
I don't see the big deal. What would you expect to read on Kingstalk.com "we should bow down to the juggernaut that is Dallas"? What this guy said is no different than members of this board writing off the Kings before the season due to lack of dept. Kingstalk, like this board and most others, has good posters and not so good posters.

That pic is hilarious. I like it. It just makes Dirk and Nash more human and likeable. They are friends that probably got a little drunk.

RE: Oh, bite me...
I find it funny that the Kings boards always cut out team down, but they talk about us more than any other team besides the Kings.

We HAVE played them in the playoffs for two straight years. The reason WE don't talk about them as much is because we talk about the Spurs.
