san antonio gets rid of rose and rasho.. they get all star calibur in jamison.. another center in bradley.. all they have to do is deal bowen in a sign & trade..

dallas gets an upgrade at center. defense in bowen.. bowen could play tremendous defense and shoot the 3 very well.. i think he would make a perfect fit.. rose, barry and najera would be the perfect role players off the bench and would give the mavs a lift and some bench depth.. walker gets to come off the bench too..

if we could sign tag and barry as free agents, the better..

i say no, JHO is a young Bowen, Rasho is not the defensive Center we need, and Rose is Najera .
Also Bowen would never get the calls he does as a Spur if he was wearing a Mav uni.

Dallas and San Antonio are not going to do a trade period. Being division rivals would mean the planets would have to align, congress would have to vote themselves less pay, and the Clintons would have to start sleeping together for this even to be considered. Just not going to happen.

That said, it would be a horrible deal for Dallas. Bradley is better than Rasho and we'd find out when he vented his wrath on the Mavs. Of course I'm sure pop would trade Rasho for Bradley any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Bowen is a good defender but not much else. Howard is yet to be a good defender but has the potential to be than and a whole lot more. Given the choice I'd take youth and potential any day. Nellie is unlikely to play Bowen because of his limited defensive capabilities. Rose is too short to play center and too slow to play SF. That means he needs to play PF which pushes Dirk out of position. Not good. And I don't think that Rose is worth AJ by any stretch. This would be a sucker trade for the Mavs and we'd have to be more than a little drunk to even consider it.
