Associated Press
Feb. 16, 2002 10:50 p.m.
SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle SuperSonics forward Rashard Lewis was ejected Saturday on his own bobblehead doll night.

Lewis was tossed from the Sonics' game against the Boston Celtics with 5:26 left in the third quarter.

He thought he was fouled on a transition layup attempt and followed referee Ron Olesiak, swearing at him, until he was ejected.

Lewis, Seattle's second-leading scorer, had 11 points Saturday on 5-for-12 shooting.

The Sonics, who led 66-49 at the time of the ejection, gave away Lewis bobblehead dolls to the first 10,000 fans.

The bobblehead curse is really picking up steam. I read a recent article on this and it was hilarious. I can't remember where I saw the article though. The bobblehead curse is going to be as famous as the Sports Illustrated curse if this keeps up.

I know the Issel incident happened on his bobblehead night but I can't recall other incidents.
