Three Mavs in it it's more reasonable. Dirk at 6th brings us optimism, Dampier at 36th gives us confidence, and Finley at 39th, solidness.

AI at 17, more objective nowadays; Sheweb at 46th, AHAHAHAHA (sorry, couldn't resist).

Dirk is definitely in the top six and maybe in the top five.

Top 10
Duncan
KG
Shaq
Kobe
Dirk
T-Mac
Yao
JO
Ben Wallace
Everyone else on that list you could argue the order. Deveney seems to have a much more realistic view on the mavs and the NBA then most.

Finally a top 10 that I can agree with. Though i'm no fan of Duncan or the Spurs he is the best player in the league hands down.

35. Rasheed Wallace, PF, Pistons
36. Erick Dampier, C, Mavericks
37. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, C, Cavaliers
38. Chauncey Billups, PG, Pistons
39. Michael Finley, SF, Mavericks
40. Richard Hamilton, SG, Pistons

I thought this was funny that all of these players iwth the exception of Ilgauskaus are a Mav or a Piston.

BTW, did Deveney forget to list Ginobilli?

I'm not sure I'd put Peja so high, and I have a hard time putting Webber and Vince Carter among the top 50.

Other than that, I can agree with just about everything.

The incident occurred with :32 remaining in the third period of the Celtics 95-88 loss to the Cavaliers on Monday, October 25 at Schottenstein Center, Columbus, OH.
"Robert Traylor and Scott Williams were bored of riding the pine and started wiping down the bench. I thought I would give them some moisture to help get the schmutz off", said Pierce " I was only trying to help"

bit low for AI... understandable after an injury-filled season. People forget how few ppl drop 30/night.

He averaged 26.4 last season, but it took him 23.4 shots to get it.
1.13 pps and .387 fg%, good for 186th and 277th in the league, respectively.
