RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
So who is the lucky prospect that will be going to Atlanta with the 1st pick this summer?

Not so fast. Atlanta will probably lose the lottery.

And then sign Walker to a longterm deal.

I don't think they have the consistency they need to go 0-82.

RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
OH come on, even good teams have bad nights like we had in Orlando.
They have to win 15 (which may be 5 more than Charlotte)

Charlotte is way better than Atlanta. Let me repeat. Antoine Walker is their best player! Atlanta might just be the worst organizion in professional sports. Did they not watch the film on this guy before they traded for him?

RE: Can Atlanta go 0-82?
They've only played four games. They can't be expected to give you anything in just four games. They are more of a volume team if you will.

RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
I guess time will tell about who is worse between Charlotte and Atlanta
Charlotte is 1-3 after getting blown out by Washington and Boston, losing late in the game to Milwaukie. Their only win is a home game with Orlando. Charlotte could be a playoff team in 4-5 years, but right now they are a collection of used garbage and a couple draft picks.
We'll see who does worse: the totally new team thats not trying to win, or the team that brought in Walker in an attempt to win.
Worst records in the league
Golden State 0-6
New Orleans 0-5
Chicago 0-3
Sacramento 1-4
Atlanta 1-4
Charlotte 1-3
Memphis 2-4
Denver 2-4
Portland 2-3
Cleveland 2-3
New Jersey 2-3
LA Lakers 3-4
We've gotten 4 of our five wins from the bolded teams, and we are about to play New Jersey.

RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
interesting read
Worst starts in NBA history
Dallas has 2 of the top 7. (92-93, 93-94)
New Orleans Hornets this year are 4th all time (1-14)
Walker is leading his team to the 9th worst start in NBA history (2-14), which isn't his first time on the list. He led the Celts to a 4-10 start in 96-97
Bulls are tied for 10th (2-12)

RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
Atlanta actually could have had a playoff team if they werent so damn cheap.
C- Ratliff
PF- Rahim
SF- Diaw??
SG-Jackson
PG-Terry
Definantly should of been good enough for a playoff spot.

Guess that was putting the cart before the horse. Sacramento has a better record than us and is playing much better ball. Why can't we pass like that. Damn!!

RE:Can Atlanta go 0-82?
Well New Orleans is now 2-25
Next up: Indiana and Phoenix.
They'll still have to beat the Mavs who won their third game on January 29th, 1994. Which brought them up to 3-39. Who was the team we beat in 94? The Sacramento Kings 108-101
