Default Serious Question

NBA Live 2006 or NBA 2K6?

and explain why.

I have NBA 2K5 on playstation 2 and NBA Live 2005 on xbox (enjoyed both)
I need to decide which game to get for xbox 360 (I don't want to spend money on both games)

I have, the main thing everyone is saying is that Live is better for arcade play but 2K6 is better for simulation play. I rather have better simulation in sports games, but I want those arcade-like animations as well sometimes so I am in a bind. I am leaning towards 2K6 as of right now, I'm just hoping there's someone that can really set Live or 2K apart from the other for me.

they are both very good. I bought 2k6 and I was surprised how good live was.

Live now has a super button which is dumb. The scorer will score almost no matter what if you push it, the stopper will get a steal or a block almost no matter what which is sometimes distracting. Both are good games but 2k6 is the better game. And the 2k6 graphics are amazing on 2k6's replays. The stripes in Dampier's neck, the animation is poor but the players look darn realistic.

Look at the screenshots/video on ign for the xbox360 version of nba 2k6 and then look at the MADDEN xbox 360 screenshots....That should give you an idea of how much work EA will put into NBA Live

2k6 is $10 cheaper and it is better.

I cant stand Live for 2 reasons:
Players skate around on the court
