(THE SEAHAWKS IN THE SUPERBOWL???)
Superbowl Champs: New England Patriots
I wanted to pick the Panthers here for a superbowl rematch, but I just couldn't do it.
The Bears have no offense.
Ely is too young.
Chris Simms in the superbowl, come on.
I hate Washington. =)
I picked three upsets in the wildcard, that's a little high I know. The Redskins are riding high and they are going up against an inexperienced QB in Simms. I guess you can swap Carolina and the Giants all the way to the NFC Championship game if you have that much faith in Tiki. I think this will be the game of the entire playoffs though, Carolina vs New York. and Pittsburgh has already beaten Cincy in Cincy earlier this year, so it wouldn't be surprising if they do it again.
With the Cowboys out, I am going root for my most hated non-NFC east team, New England.
I don't want Peyton to ever beat Brady in the playoffs.

Superbowl XL Indianapolis over Seattle
NFC Title game
Seattle over Carolina
AFC
Broncos v. Colts
Colts are the most physical team in the NFL. They killed New England in New England. I know they have dropped a few games, but they are the more physical team.

I don't see it happening Doc, Seattle is just one of those towns that don't seem right to me that is all =]
Nah, there's no way the NFL would have the SuperBowl Champs residing in Seattle, no way.

There is no way that Seattle would ever become the coffee capitol of the world or the home a bazillionaire either. Maybe you are right.

This thread is gayer than Murph's housekeeper.
Admit that you have no idea how well your team--ahem, Patriots--will do, and be done with it. Else I will make fun of your no-picking ass as long as the playoffs last.

The Steelers just got screwed on the replay. wow. They probably still win this game but wow. That was so very obviously an interception it isn't funny.
edit--> Indy drives and scores and then gets a penalty on the two point conversion. Tries it from five yards back and gets it anyways. wow.
three point game....Pitts up 21-18

Poor Peyton... Is this guy EVER going to get to the superbowl... This sure looked like the year in which everything was going their way... HFA throughout, NE knocked out, fairly easy path, (a very beatable Pittsburgh team and Denver with a QB that might be exposed at any moment), and still they fall short...
Personally, I think Dallas will eventually lose this label, but Indy sure is looking like the Mavericks of the NFL... A great regular season team that is up there every year regarding best records that just can't quite get it done in the playoffs.
With that said, I sure hope both shed that label as soon as possible!
