Official Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Clippers gameday 1/20/06
Phoenix just ended their 3 win streak and would like to start winning again. We'd like to continue our 3 game winstreak.
Who will get what they want?

That's just my probably foolish and uninformed guess, but I still say that superstition might well play a role in our Mavs' choice of uniform tomorrow (the winning powers of the gloriously green P-Diddy jersey are inarguably potent, after all)...

Pdiddy has been on quite a roll now. I was pretty surprised to see them pulled out against the bucks at home.

I almost feel sorry for the Clippers. The Mavericks will be armed with the fury of an EL GDT.
Bring on the scissor boats, they are going down.....

We win this by 20+. You see, we are the BIG BAD MAVERICKS and we're just gonna blow the Clippers outta the house. No joke.

Clippers always give us major trouble. At least they dont have Simmons anymore. Still Cassel will hit plently of jumpers today and it will be tough. I'm guessing we win in the final seconds.

Well I think both teams have changed alot since our last meeting. Diop and Griffin in the starting lineup and Clippers gained Mobley and Cassell and lost Simmons. Prediction: Mavs win 100-93.

Dallas needs to contain Brand and Kaman on the boards. And make Cassell shoot contested shots. If he gets that 15-20 footer in transition a lot this game... it could be a very long night. I think that's his favorite shhot, next to his pull up at about 20 feet... pump fake, get the defender up in the air, lean into the defender and draw the foul.
I hope the Mavs win. But LA (both of them) is a bad matchup for the Mavs.

So who takes brand tonight, diop? And Dirk takes Kaman. Probably so it seems.

Dirk needs to hold his position better against them.
And it would be nice to make them miss every now and then.

Man kaman needs a haircut..That is one scraggly look.
Bad shot dirk, get squared up, not a moving 3ptr.

is it safe to say that Chris Kaman is the ugliest person at the Staple's Center?

Yeah. As good as Dirk's stroke is the last couple of games... he doesn't need to shoot tough shots.
That 2nd 3 was a tough shot.

On the second three, I'm pretty sure he thought there was less time on the clock.. There was about 6 seconds left on the clock when the ball was in bounded... probably could have goeetn a better look. Might have thought he was closer to being up against an expiring clock than he actually was.

Second that. I don't like that team at all. Early flame out for them coming.

So no killer tonight, he's "un-playing" himself out of this town. Stack really can turn the ball over man.

Dirk seems a little rushed tonight. Maybe a little too aggressive.

Dirk has been wildly inconsistent so far tonight. Good effort lately but pitiful execution on several plays.

..was odd seeing him shoot and airball on an open jumper.
..forced shot by Dirk, but great play by Damp.
Even if it was rushed, Dirk's way off tonight..this is odd.. He's rarely this off.
