Default Tom Penders collapses during game..

I'm sure most of you have already heard about this.... I heard about it recently like most of you..but, I decided to read the game recap today just to see how they described it. This has got to be one of the worst officiating decisions in the history of sports.

Penders collapsed during the game when a UAB player drove to the basket and was fouled. The official thought that he went to his knees in disgust over the call so he gave him a 'T'. Sure, I can see that. But, Penders went to the floor and had to be carted off on a stretcher. But guess what.. The official DID NOT take back the 'T'. Even after carting Penders off the court because of his heart, the official did not change the technical foul call.

Isn't that the most amazingly idiotic decision that you've ever seen by official with the possible exception of the recent non interception call in the Indy/Pitt game?

That was the topic of one of our afternoon call in shows the other day. Pathetic non-reversal.

any updates here??? does Penders have a heart condition?

what, if any, impact did the tech have on the game?

the league chastised the officials for not reversing the technical.

penders has had a defibrillator in his chest for several years. I don't think he is back on the sidelines yet.
