Since March Madness just passed...
And we need to sign someone, how about :
last season he played 15 mpg for the heat and averaged 5 points, 3 boards. i'd rather have him than kemp. but the question is, what the hell is he doing this year?

whoops, didn't realize this was actually already being discussed in the "KVH breaks hand" thread. You can close it if you want, but i think he deserves his own thread.
Evil would agree.

I wouldn't mind it a bit! Though he isn't the hottie he was during my 1991-1992 Laettner obsession days when my dad would send me mail to Stephen F. Austin addressed to Mrs. Christian Laettner, he wouldn't be a bad backup to Dirk.

There is no better haven for women than SFA.... I do not know of any nice girl that has gone there that hasn't come back seriously corrupted.

They were pretty kick ass in foot ball this year. And they have always been good at baseball. They were even good in basketball the past few years.

In Division 1 AA, I think last year or the year before they were playing for the championship against like Wyoming or someone like that. Not in division 1 A or anything like that.

Division I-AA in this HOUSE!
William & Mary produced the 2004 Payton Award Winner (awarded annually to the best offensive player in I-AA football) in our QB, Lang Campbell.
Then again...it's Division I-AA.

I'm not sure which is funnier....6-8 not getting the "foot ball"/degree smack thing or him thinking that I was referring to actual football.

My sister went to SFA. She now teaches there.
When she left home to go there she was a good Christian girl.
Now?
Not so much.
Needless to say my little girls won't be going there on my pocketbook.

There's something truly special about the transition that occurs when your average sweet and innocent 18 year old girl goes off to school to SFA only to come back home after a semester of drunken pillow fighting with her sorority sisters.

Sorority? Ummmm.... That would have been good news.
She dated some interesting locals. Like the guy that carried a purse, and was as bald as an Eagle. She did meet her husband there though, and he is a good guy. I shouldn't bag on her so much. She is doing good. Her priorities changed when she went to school because of the people that were in her life everyday.
I feel dirty talking about this in the General Mavs section.... so back on topic:
Since March Madness just passed, give me NBA playoffs.

that about sums up my 2 years there! I left home fairly innocent and was forced by my dad to return home because he thought it was a waste of his money for me to go out more times in a week than attending class. my grades were pathetic. my brother is a year younger and he went to Austin College. his freshman year (and my sophomore year) he left a humorous though mean outgoing message on our answering machine at Christmas. he said, "hi. you've reached Tracy and Rob. we are home from college for the winter break. we made a 4.0. I got a 3.5 and Tracy got the rest." so rude. thank goodness only credits transferred and I was allowed to mature and graduate with honors from UTA.

Grant Hill to Laetner is one of the greatest plays in college basketball. Laetner not if we waive Marshall or Powell.

We're going to use our 16th man exception on a soft, white fossil that's way past his prime?
