Default Just tongue in cheek

What do you think Nellie would say after sweeping the Grizz?

"We got lucky"

"The Mavs barely squeaked by"

"The Mavs aren't good enough to win it all"

Thank goodness we have a different mentality now. Mavs believe they can win now instead of listening to such negativity.

Nellie is sitting in a golf cart in Oahu, sifting through dallas-mavs.com between tee boxes, tap-tap-tapping on his Treo 700w and leaving tidbits of negativity under the moniker TwoDeep3.

It is different, that's for sure. AJ is saying we need to get better so we can stomp to death the next team as well.

My wife made an interesting observation last night, thinking back to game 3, she said "...under Don Nelson, the Mavericks would not have won game 3. They didn't have the right mental picture in their heads to pull that one out...." Considering that she is a "watch because I watch fan", that is a pretty deep observation.

Default I just like the mindset

Thank goodness the underdog mentality is gone. All the Mavs needed was a winner of a coach.

Well, we'll see how well it works when they play the best team in the league. Let's just hope that they aren't shocked to discover that attitude alone won't always get them there.

Even Nellie is getting into the act. He did say that there was no chance that the Griz would win the series.
