Melvin Ely
The guy wants to be traded. He is a decent forward that can score and rebound...I think he would be a better back up to Dirk than Cro.
Any thoughts on maybe Cro for Ely AJ for Ely

I also saw an article saying that he wasn't causing a problem with the team and he was still maintaining a good relationship with his coach and teammates so I don't think he's a guy that would be considered a potential team cancer.

Hey, might as well take a young guy that can at least match Cro's production.. try to lock him up on the cheap, too!
Only bummer here is that it'll probably take an added draft pick to get this trade done. I'd still do it. It basically guarantees us a backup quality player for several years to come (granted we are able to resign him). |
