Jerry Sloan to step down after season?
Utah's Sloan stepping down?
Monday, Apr 2, 2007 4:25 pm EDT This might be the last season for Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan, who recently turned 65. This is more than speculation. Sloan has pondered retirement most recent summers, except that this time it has become conversation within the Jazz, and people who know him well suggest they could see him finally stepping away. If Sloan retires, it is virtually an automatic that Phil Johnson, a former Kings coach, will be offered the job.

We'll have to see how the Jazz do the rest of the year, but I don't really buy it either.

lol. either that was a very funny comment or a very ungainly misread
 i think sloan is probably gonna win COTY, and i can't find too many reasons, given what the award usually stands for, to say he especially does not deserve it. |
