Default Bored trade scenarios

Ill come up with random bored trade scenarios this offseason.

Josh howard, jason terry, Dampier for
Gasol, Mike Miller, rudy gay.

Mavs lineup next year

Devin harris
Mike Miller
Rudy gay
Dirk
Gasol

With Diop, stack(if he resigns) and george off the bench. Need to find a backup pg somewhere though.

So they're just supposed to give them to us. I see.

How about:
-Dirk
-Terry
-Buck
1st round pick, all 2nd round picks

for Boston's

-1st round pick
-Sczerbiak
-Brian Scalabrine
-Telfair.

Our lineup:
Either
Oden / Damp
Diop
Howard
Sczerbiak
Harris

or

Damp / Diop
Pops?
Durant / George (if re-signed)
Howard / Stack (if re-signed)
Harris / Telfair

Boston's lineup
Jefferson
Dirk
Pierce
Buck
Terry

p.s. Although interesting, I wouldn't pull the trigger.

A. One last time, we don't have this year's 1st round pick.

B. Unless I'm very wrong, there isn't a chance in hell those salaries match.

C. The Celctics haven't even won a top two pick yet.

D. You have Pops as a possible starter in one of your lineup???????????//

E. No

No, I'm really not making fun of you, rather I'm just having fun with how much value is being placed on the top pick in his year's draft. I would love to have either Oden or Durant but the price tag is just rediculous.

a) Didn't know that about this year's pick...give them Atlanta's second, our second, and a future first.
b)You'r right about the salaries. Take Terry out of the equation and it works, though.
c) Yeah, that would be pretty terrible
d) I would agree.

Not to kid-nap the thread 5-of.

Back to your trade: if it meant getting rid of Damp's contract then I would seriously consider it but it would be very hard to let go of Howard.

just for grins.....

Mavs Give & Get -- Perimeter player who can't pass for 3/4 combo player who can play inside a little and can move the ball around really well;

Lakers Give & Get -- Player who can't take any scoring pressure off of Kobe for a guy who can......

IOW, Howard for Lamar Odom.......

Howard's salary isn't quite big enough, and arguably the mavs are giving up a guy who spends more time on the court and less in the hospitable than the Lakers so it isn't a perfect match.......still, I think a guy with Odom's skill set might complement Dirk more than J-Ho, and Kobe could use someone who can provide some early scoring.

Same here, that's just an awful trade for us.
