"Puerto Rico got more bad news after the game when Dallas Mavericks guard Jose Juan Barea was suspended two games by FIBA for cursing at the referees and fouling out late in the third quarter. He won't be eligible to return until Puerto Rico's final game of pool play Saturday against Uruguay."

If he fouled out earlier in the third I think they wouldnt have suspended him.

What exactly constitutes a foul in pool? spilling a drink, dropping your cigar ashes on the floor, moving a ball, Poking, clubbing, swinging. . .

I watched the game. The ref's were awful. I can understand JJ getting frustrated. That wasn't the only tech called in the game, just the only suspension. A little ridiculous imop. JJ didn't go after anybody. I've seen alot worse in the NBA with no suspensions. Too bad for Puerto Rico because without JJ I don't think they have a snowballs chance....

those refs are jacked up, along with those rules...think of players in the nba got suspended that bad for just cursing..

actually i wonder how bad he cursed??
