vinylstar is my dad
He didn't want me to tell anyone because he felt that his thoughts on this board would be more appreciated if the majority of the populace felt that vinylstar was a Master Stroker (the highest level of stroking that can possibly be attained)
now that I've come clean, I expect to be stroked by my father, vinylstar
so it is from my undisclosed cave location that I write to you fellows tonight
if this is my last transmission, I want you all to know that I loved you
if this transmission is not the last of mine, which heavily depends on if I can maneuver my way through vinylstar's band of Ballsack Vigilantes (a renegade troupe of actual living dead ballsacks that my father, vinylstar, has risen from the dead and employed into his service to hunt me down) hairy forest, which I probably can
I shall transmit again if it is to be so
until then

U2 is my real life father-in-law once removed. He doesnt know it yet but some day a mormon geneologist will discover this and it will be a revelation.

Ahh...such love for each other. Flaco, Sike, and FFO...this song is for you:
Quote:
[Flaco]
It was the middle of winter
And I drove us in my car
The snow started falling
So we stopped off at a bar
The beer started flowing
And your mother and I took the floor
But by the last dance we were tired
So I booked a room next door
So if anyone asks you
If you come from Heaven above
You're from a one star hotel
With a five star passionate love
[/Flaco]
[sike]
It was a hot summers day
And we drove there in our car
And your father was thirsty
So we had to find a bar
Well he wouldn't stop drinking
And he couldn't stand on his feet
We had to walk to a hotel
And book ourselves into a suite
So if the teacher asks you
Are you from Heaven or are you from Hell
You're from a one star drunken screw
In a one star motel
Yes if the teacher asks you
Are you from Heaven or are you from Hell
You're from a pitch black toilet
In a highway Taco Bell
[/sike]
[Flaco]
I'll remember the birth
For the rest of my time on this land
You're mother sweating buckets
And me holding onto her hand
[/Flaco]
[sike]
Well your father was absent
He claimed he couldn't find the ward
Just tugging on mescal
Trying to eat the umbilical cord
So if anyone asks you
Do you know where you're from, say yes
You're from your mother's womb
And your father's stinking breath
And if they ask you how you got here
Tell them just what it took
Your father's stinking breath
And your mother's stinking luck
[/sike]

So did I.
But I had some great PM conversations with him.
One of these days, around Christmas, I'm going to go scouring Waco for the house with a deflated snow globe on the lawn.... go knock on the door and shake his hand....

I miss Doc too.
I've contemplated contacting him, but how do I know if he'd even be receptive to that?
Why punch him? Family members punk me better than he did, and I'm still decent them.

trust was betrayed...trust that had taken years to build...it was just one more example of how utterly shallow much that takes place on the internet really is....because I would NEVER treat my friends like that...and in an odd way...I considered doc (a man I've never and will never meet) a friend.
obviously I would not anyone to actually punch him.

I didn't actually mean to direct "Why punch him?" to you. I knew you weren't serious. I thought of him as a friend too, though I spent very little time with him.
I guess I was just absorbing how very small his "betrayal" measures on life's scale of betrayals. Maybe that's why I can think of Doc so fondly again? Plus, his actions over the years pretty much told us we should be prepared for disappointment from him. He openly (at least online) chose not to live up to the standards he held dear, and we embraced him anyway.
