Spurs introduce new Jerseys Thursday
'Lose Spurs' Jerseys To See Floor Time Thursday
March 6, 2008 - 2:23 pm Express-News - Special uniforms: The Spurs will don special uniforms for tonight's game as part of the team's "Fiesta with the Spurs" celebration. The one-night-only jerseys will feature the words "Lose Spurs" emblazoned on the front, below a special "Noche Pérdida" patch meant to commemorate the event. |

San Antonio Spurs are getting into the "Fiesta" spirit by holding a Latin-themed night of celebration as they host the Indiana Pacers Thursday night. Fans attending Thursday's game will be met with colorful decorations and musical entertainment provided by Salsa Calienta and a local mariachi band. The Silver Dancers will be dancing with a Latin flair, and the Coyote will put on a show fit for Fiesta. The team will be wearing "Lose Spurs" jerseys which feature a Noche Pérdida patch honoring the NBA's Latin Nights 2008. One lucky fan will have the chance to win a lock of Manu Ginobili's lost hair.
