Calling all Austinians!!
So, I'm moving to Austin in September...
Who wants to start having Mavs watch parties in 08/09?
We can decide on a place that is the most convienient for everyone, serves the best food, has the best price on alochol, has the nicest TV's, etc...
Then we can set up official dallas-mavs.com watch parties for every big game =]
Let me know if you're interested!

Well, I'll probably be around by December/January. Unfortunately, this thread probably won't be.

Organize it, I'm sure I'll be up in DFW quite often when I move back to Texas...since that's where I'm from and all.

with good reason....I killed a man who threw a party where the punch didn't meet my extremely high "party punch" standards.

Oh, I forgot to mention. People from Austin typically refer to themselves as "Austinites", not "Austinians". Just giving you a heads up so people won't automatically know you're not one yourself.

I'm up for watch parties in Austin. Tavern is a great place to watch.
And the thread will definitely stay alive--just like I renew my "Favorite Beer" thread every once in a while ;]
BTW, GermanDunk, you definitely need to post your Beck's Beer picture in my thread for me ;]

Of course I'll go. We'll have to fight the overpoweringly nauseating Spurs fan contingent when they have games the same night, but I'm all for that.

Awesome, so far, we have 3 true fans =]
As far as battling the Spurs fans? It'll be worth it when we win and they lose =]

I go nowhere without my cat. He drinks and pisses like a horse, so he usually gets booted quickly. Then we spend the next few days planning bombing raids on the establishment. Fortunately, my cat always gets cold paws and we scratch the mission.

Yeah the problem isn't that you killed him. The problem is that he's still got that dress on you put him in, and he's still in your bath tub.
If we had a Dallas watching party, it would need to be somewhere extremely public, maybe with some armed security and the skull of roy tarpley.

Woa, Dan is coming?
In that case, pick a place with an arcade. Cici's? Gatti's?

No wonder Underdog is bitter. He can't stand the fact he is unable to join our elite company so far from home.
