I'm not giving up on the Mavs

Its still early, but so many on here seem to be panicking and are ready to give up on this team. Pfft. Oh ye of little faith. The Mavs might not win the championship, but they're far from not being good enough to make the playoffs or anywhere near that.

Dirk has started off rusty, but that won't continue. He's still one of the best players in the league.

Josh is playing really well.

Kidd is playing better than last season. In fact, he's been playing surprisingly well.

JET is underrated. A bit inconsistent, but outside shooters have high variability. He usually plays well when he gets starter levels of playing time.

Green has been an excellent spark plug. More of him, less of Stackhouse.

I believe Rick will figure out something.

On the other hand, Diop doesn't look anything like the last 2 years, Stacks ratio of craptastic games to quality games keeps getting worse, and we have no legit backup PG, so we're not without weaknesses.

I will never give up, never have, never will. But this team has to learn to keep it together for four quarters at a time.
