We (the undersigned) would like to know why the hell Devean is in the game
or still on this team in the first place.

I agree, he was terrible in the second half. I actually had hope when he hit his first 2 threes, but his D on Kobe let him get going.

he just doesn't have an NBA worthy game any longer...he used to be a very serviceable defensive player...just not any longer.

I know he's not actually fat... but he looks fat and he moves fat. Maybe someone should tell him he's not fat.

Remember when Devean George c*ckblocked the Kidd trade and cost us the KVH contract?
That was hilarious!

Its obviously because he guards Kobe so well. I mean did you see how he completely shut him down last night? It was sweet.

His heart is just not in it anymore. I don't know if it is the continual injuries, the negative rep pressure from blocking the trade, the fact that he used to play for the lakers, or that he has only had one decent short stretch as a dallas maverick, that is causing his quickly deteriorating career as a NBA player.
How many times in the playoffs did we need a three from him, and all we saw were a google of bricks. We have to trade him quickly to remove the stigma he has created for himself and his teammates. IMO, he is one of the few that is compouding the lapses of mental fortitude that this team needs so badly during our late third and early fourth quarter collapses.

I'll sign the petition of fans that recommends that DG suffer the same fate as Stackhouse...
