I don't see how MIP doesn't go to Devin Harris or Kevin Durant. They went from being good players to be stars IMO. Especially in Durant's case.

^Rondo, Millsap deserve some consideration too..
MIP is hard to judge imo. Do you judge by bench player to star? or star to superstar?

Yea i'm watching the Jazz game now and just remembered Milsap. Rondo as well. Its hard. When I think of MIP I think of a bench player becoming a solid contributor in this league. And I think for guys like Rondo and Milsap there progression from last year to this year is bigger than guys like Durant and Harris. I think it should be based on how far the player has actually progressed. To some I can see Durant getting that nod.

Rondo should get MIP. If the Celts had a healthy Garnett they´d be totally unstoppable.

Harris. Only because sophmore's are expected to take huge strides after getting their feet wet for one season, but Durant's progress is definitely special.

Guy I'd most like to see blow out every knee ligament if I were the type of guy that actually wished for injuries..but, I'm not, so I don't..but if I had to: lebron james.... and of course, never play again in the NBA..
But hey, that's just me if I were that type of guy. But, I'm not..so, nevermind.

I'd reluctantly be ok with him not destroying his testicles in a bizarre catfish noodling accident.

Yes but who won the REAL Awards?
Flopper/Actor of the year?
Best offensive player with an offensive range of 3 ft?
Most improved official at not being criticized for improper officiating?
Most $$$$ made under the table by any one owner?
Best Crying/Wheel Chair/Injury Actor?

I would say Durant is a close 3rd. He had a monster year as well.
