Default I need advice

I'm going to take my mother out for a late mother's day trip during labor day weekend because she will have day off work so I need some good places I could take her around the DFW metroplex! It'll be a family orientated thing so keep that in mind.

I was thinking of taking the fam to the Dr.Pepper museum over there in waco and then BBQ, then rest, and a late night dinner.

Name some places and I'm on a recession too! Please and thank you!

Advice #1: Don't go to Waco.

Waco is an hour and a half away from DFW...

Which part of the metroplex are you in?

Yes I hear the tour is pretty interesting. I love history about novelties compared to historical events/arts. I live in the Dallas are of the metroplex. I don't mind driving 1-3hours. I was thinking of corpus christi too.

If you live in the Dallas area, I can't see heading down to Waco just to visit the Dr Pepper museum. You're going to burn two or three hours just sitting in a car. I guess if you want the time for conversation, that's one thing. But if not, I would favor better utilizing the time close to home.
